Pray Earnestly, A Month of Prayer | March 2026
We are dedicating the weeks leading up to Easter to earnestly pray, seeking deeper communion with God and asking Him to save more people in our region.
Worship & Prayer Night
Sunday | March 01 | 6PM-7:30PM | 5639 Crooked Lake Road in Howell
March 01 has been planned as a “prayer night” in our church calendar for months. We will now leverage this prayer meeting as the “kick off” to our “Pray Earnestly” project. We’ll give a slightly greater emphasis to participation in prayer through singing than we have at past prayer nights, while continuing to dedicate time for spoken prayer. We will particularly focus on prayer for deeper communion with God and prayer for him to move in our region to save the lost.

Pastoral Weekly Prayer Email
All Month Long
Every Monday we will send out a pastoral encouragement toward prayer. These encouragements will be an earnest, yet short dose of gospel encouragement. The goal will be for them to be about 300 words long.

Daily Prayer Prompts
All Month Long
We will write 36 unique one-sentence prayer prompts to be sent out via text every day - one for each day from March 1 to April 5 (Easter Sunday). These prompts will encourage us toward earnestly praying for deeper communion with God and greater gospel impact among lost people.
This will be an “opt-in” text campaign. We’ll continue to invite the congregation to participate throughout the month of March. It’s never too late to pray!

Saturday | March 11 | 8PM-6PM | 4660 Sweet Road in Howell
On Saturday, March 21 we are opening up the church office as a prayer room and dedicating ten hours, from 8:00AM to 6:00PM, to seeking the Lord through focussed, concentrated prayer.
We have created a sign up form that will allow people to sign up for one hour increments of time. The goal will be to have 3-8 people sign up to pray in the prayer room (church office) every hour, throughout the day.
We will make the office comfortable and conducive to extended prayer. We will also provide resources and guides for prayer, but the time of prayer will be organic and self-directed.
