INFANT LOSS
MINISTRY

Providing care, prayer, and resources for those who have experienced miscarriage or stillbirth. If you are looking for this ministry, then we are truly sorry and heartbroken for you. We want you to know that you are not alone – we are here to support you and we are praying that you will experience the comfort of God in a very real way.
God of All Comfort
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.
2 Corinthians 1:3-7

COMFORT KIT

For those living within the greater Livingston County area, we would be honored to provide you with a comfort kit. We know that fuzzy socks, chocolates, tea, and candles won’t soothe the deep aching your heart is feeling, but we hope that this kit helps you feel loved and known amidst your pain. As these comfort kits were being made, you were being prayed for.

A few of the included items:
  • A heating pad that was sewn and prayed over by a member of Union Church.
  • Held by Abbey Wedgeworth, which is a beautifully written book that offers 31 Biblical Reflections on God's Comfort and Care in the Sorrow of Miscarriage.
  • If you find comfort in music, we encourage you to listen to the songs by scanning the QR code inside of the kit. In times of sorrow, it can be difficult to find words to even pray initially, but there is comfort in listening to worship songs and having them be the prayer of your heart.

PRAYER AND CARE

If there are any specific ways we can be praying or be of support to you in this season, please let us know.
