One of the key Biblical assumptions for followers of Jesus is that they are living a life of discipleship in the context of community. The Christian life is not meant to be experienced in solitude but in the vibrancy of community. This community is most clearly expressed in local churches, and at Union Church, one of the ways we formally live out our commitment to community is through membership.
In membership, we identify ourselves with one another, commit to loving and caring for one another, and submit to one another for accountability—all done as brothers and sisters in Christ. This allows us to serve one another, belong among one another, and lead one another with a deep sense of trust and shared mission.
We generally have membership classes in the spring, fall, and summer. Please check our events page or email our office below for more information.
